Welcome to the first post of my new blog!
There are so many things I would love to discuss in this #blog but I haven't made a plan as such, mainly because I just want it to flow naturally. So, I thought I'd start with sharing some of the things about my life that I am truly #grateful for. Practising #Gratitude is now seen as a sure fire way to our #wellbeing, much like #Yoga and #Meditation. If you haven't tried it give it a go. The idea is that you do it on a daily basis and it's definitely more effective if you write things down.
Here are 10 from me .....
I am so grateful that I have a loving #family.
I am so grateful that I have close #friends that I know I could depend on.
I love my #pets and wouldn't want to be without them.
I live by the #sea!!! I never take that for granted.
My home is my haven. I was so lucky to find my place and I've had 7 happy years here so far. I have great neighbours and a stunning view out to sea.
I am grateful for my #health. You never know what's around the corner so look after yourself and #behappy!
I am grateful for the two sofas that my cousin gave me. I had my eye on them years ago and finally they made it to my lounge. You need something comfy to sit on!
I love my car! It's nothing fancy but it's very dependable. I was watching a #TopGear repeat last night and Jeremy Clarkson said that a survey showed that we spend an average of 4 years of our lives in our cars!
I'm sooooooo grateful for this #MacBookAir that I am working on. It was awarded to me after I completed a supplemented #business course.
I am glad that I am a 'glass half full' kind of person and that I stay #positive and #motivated, even when the going gets tough.
There are #gratitudejournals out there which are published paperback diaries. I bought this one { } and can recommend it to help you keep track on a daily basis.
